It feels like an unknown energy is crushing my soul right now. I purchased a brand new macbook pro two weeks back and now am in total shambles gazing at the Apple WWDC 2009 updates. Every damn model of macbook has been upgraded. I usually go around asking everyone to play the waiting game if they were planning on buying new Apple products. I reckon I should have followed my own advice for once. Anyways let’s brush my pain aside and dive into the joy of millions of potential Apple consumers who undoubtedly are going to beam with excitement seeing the latest updates from Apple.
Here’s a snapshot of the new macbook pro range. Notice the increase in processor speed and ram?? Even the base model in the MBP range now has a 4GB ram! Now to add icing on the cake – SD Card slot and a Firewire port has been included!!! The 17-inch drops to $2499. Now if that weren’t enough, all the models can be upgraded to 500GB 7200 rpm hard drive or 256GB SSD and also to a maximum 8 GB Memory instead of the earlier 4 GB restriction . Apple also claims a whooping 7 hr battery life on MBP!
So to wrap it up this is all you get if you were to buy the new MBP!!!

Hi Rohit! Even I am disgusted with myself I bought my MBP a week back. Is there anything I can do for an exchange.
Ah count on your blessings that you bought it a week back! You are well within the 14 day exchange period. Just call up the apple store where you picked up your mac book pro from and they will definitely arrange for an exchange :)..
Why on earth would anyone buy an apple product a week before macworld or wwdc… that’s when you sell your old shit to the suckers
Hehe..You are right Jason.. Sold my old iPhone a week back to some sucker :).. Can’t wait to lay my hand on 3GS.. But it’s good that Apple have a 14 days exchange period.. That way we need not regret after making a dumb mistake jst days before wwdc!..
