Of late, a plethora of movies, tv series, documentaries etc are finding their way on MegaVideo hosting service.
If you are a total movie buff, there are good chances that you know sites such as SurfTheChannel, WatchMoviesOnline etc. These sites generally provide Megavideo links. Over the last two years, I have used SurfTheChannel to watch Heroes, Prison Break, Lost, Felicity, Two and a Half men etc.
I love the fact that I can stream the shows whenever I feel like, but I have always wished for an easy way to download it for offline viewing. So far I have used a firefox plugin called VideoDownloadHelper to achieve this; however, here I am sharing an easier method to download the videos hosted on Megavideo site.
It’s just a 3 step process:
1) Install GreaseMonkey addon for Firefox.
2) Install the Direct Megavideo script and restart your browser.
3)Now whenever you are on a MegaVideo Page, you will find a Download option at the bottom-right corner of the screen which looks like the image below.
![]()
Note: You can use the above method as a workaround for the 72 mins restriction imposed by Megavideo :)
