Google will be holding a special Chrome OS event at their headquarters in Mountain View, California this Thursday.

Sundar Pichai, Google’s VP of Product Management and Matthew Papakipos, Google Engineering Director for Google Chrome OS will give some technical background information as well as show off demos which should give a complete overview of the OS.
We should also be getting a date for it’s launch, which right now is pinned at ‘early next year’. The earlier rumours of Google Chrome OS launching ‘this week’ may not be true where it was suggested that Google may launch at least a part of the Chrome OS this week.
We should be getting a better picture this Thursday about how this new revolutionary OS will make our lives simple.
