After an app for Palm Pre Styled multi-tasking, a Palm Pre themed browser was always on the cards. Kudos to Omar Mashhour for coming up with a full screen, tabbed browser for the iPhone which is designed to feel as if one were browsing on the Pre. The browser has been named as ZapBrowser.
It’s minimalistic design comes with a tiny menu button in the top left corner of the screen which provides the following functions.
- link on any website by entering their addresses (Go to ..);
- open a new tab (new tab);
- add to my favorites (Add to bookmarks);
- Favorite show (show Bookmarks);
- send by mail the link you are visiting (Mail link);
- open the link in Safari;
- clear history (Clear History);
- hide the menu (Hide).
You can make the app yours for just $1.99 via cydia store.
Instructions on how to install the ZapBrowser
1) Tap on Cydia.
2) Click on the search button at the bottom right corner and look for ZapBrowser.
3) Tap on purchase button and pay $1.99 using PayPal or Amazon payment method.
4) Install the app and enjoy the Palm Pre styled browser on your iPhone.
