iBlueTooth for iPhone firmware 3.1.2 is just around the corner!

by Rohit on October 22, 2009

Developer of iBluetooth, MeDevil, has confirmed that he is still working on a new version of iBluetooth for 3.1.x firmware! This is what the italian developer had to say:

I would say to all that I’m still working on iBluetooth version 2 (no, i didn’t run away with money) . As said before, version 2 will be compatible with FW 3.x and with iPhone 2g, 3g, 3gs & ipod touch 2g. I had to stop development this summer because of personal problem. No date defined right now, will try to release it as soon as it’s usable. Thank you for your patience.

Once completed, the application will be made available via iSpazio repository on Cydia. Natively iPhone supports just the Bluetooth Headset Profile and Bluetooth Hands-free Profile 1.5. One of the things topping the wish-list of iPhone users is Bluetooth file transfer.

iBluetooth does exactly that. It enables users to transfer file from their iPhone to any other Bluetooth device. It also comes with a built in file viewer making it convenient to transfer files to and fro!

We will give you an update when the app is out.

There is no excuse for leaving full bluetooth support out of the iPhones!
