Have you already jailbroken your iPhone using Pwnage and are on 5.11.07? Do you want to unlock your iPhone using Blacksn0w without having to again re-jailbreak using Blackra1n? If yes, this tutorial is exactly what you need.
1) Tap on cydia on your jailbroken iPhone.
2) Choose Manage tab on the bottom of the screen.
3) Select Sources.
4) On the top-right corner you will find edit button, select that and then tap add button. You will be asked to enter a url. Enter http://blackra1n.com and tap on add sources.
5) Cydia then updates your sources.
6) Once this is done. Tap on search at the bottom of cydia and in the search box look for Blacksn0w
7) Install it and reboot your iPhone.
8 ) Congrats, you just unlocked your iPhone using Blacksn0w thanks to Geohot :)

I didn’t even need to reboot. Just ran blacksn0w with the AT&T SIM inside, and swapped it out with another SIM right after. I am able to make calls and send texts. So far so good.

Still can’t get my iphone WIFI to connect to the internet, I’ve turned on the WIFI, reset my network setting several times to no avail. Pls I need my WIFI to be on before I could jailbreak and unlock my iphone on Firmware 5.11.07 3G, os 3.1
Please, any solution other the reseting my network and turning my WIFI on because it did not work.

Thank you I have internet on my iphone now, have cydia, i think my phone is jailbroken, ran blacksn0w it searches for network, after sometimes, it still say “No Sim” but I have t-mobile sim card inside,
What else should I do?
@rohit, everything works just fine after the (very simple) unlock, untill yesterday when my iphone refused to make connection to the internet. I can text, make calls.. only i cant connect to the internet… any tips or tricks for this problem?

I am able to unlock my phone. I receive call but i cant make any. Whe i insert my sim card it tells me that it a different sim card is detected and to connect to iTunes. I connected and it tells me that the iphone i connected might be damaged but it works receiving calls. It is just that i cant use it really like a normal phone. PLEASE HELP ME!!
Romy, I am having the same exact issue as you are.
I used Blackra1n and Snow to unlock the phone. Everything looks like it went through fine, however when I switch the att sim card out with a Tmobile sim, i have no signal to make phone calls. Any ideas for this issue out there? I have tried several times to unlock with no success. I did successfully jailbreak using BlackRa1n. I am on firmware 3.1.2.

wassuppp ppl , i did thiss nd everything goes fine on cydia i dl the blackra1n source and when i go to DL blacksn0w its completes the DL but stays stuck on the reloading screen !!!!! and then reboots my phone all over again
