Hi, I currently have an iphone 3G with 3.1.2. and baseband (04.26.08). I want to upgrade the baseband to 05.11.07. I want to know the difference between the basebands. I am more concerned about the battery life than anything else. Just want to know if one baseband will drain the battery faster than the other.

Hi,

I accidently updated my iphone 2G in Itunes 9.1 and the phone got locked. It just shows the screen where you can dial the emergency number. I tried many jailbreaking and unlocking softwares like Redsnow, Snowbreeze, Blackra1n on Windows but with no luck. With Snowbreeze when I try to restore to the custom firmaware iTunes fails with 1600 error. I tried using iREB to get around this error but the white screen never turns up.
Is there any other technique to get resolve this problem. Any help is appreciated.

i m really happy to see that u r always reply to all people. thank u for ur good response and wish u good luck.
i m from kolkata, have an iphone 3g 8gb. want to unlock and jailbreak. and also update to firmware to 3.1. because i want to video record in my phone. i m running with vodafone.
i also want ur response.
1) My iPhone model. Is 3G 8gb.
2) My iPhone firmware is 2.0(5A347)
3) My modem(baseband) firmware is 01.45.00

i m not in regular net. so pls mail me if u post something here for me or mail me for your good advice. thank u.

Hi,

I updated my iPhone software through iTunes and now I am suffering with this ‘No Service’ issue?

Are you aware of any ways to resolve such an issue?
This is driving me mental;

Seems that inadvertantly updating the modem baseband has screwed it :s
