The wait is over folks! GeoHot has released his Jailbreak tool – BlackRa1n. Unfortunately, it’s available for Windows users only.
BlackRa1n will work on any iPhone/iPod touch devices running 3.xx firmware.
Important: The new iPod touch requires a tethered jailbreak. Meaning, if you let the battery die you will need to use BlackRa1n to boot it again.
As I mentioned in my earlier post Blackra1n can be used only by iPhone users who are on official carrier i.e AT&T(US), o2(UK) etc.
Reminder: If your iPhone is unlocked via ultrasn0w then please stay away from Blackra1n. Blackra1n is for those users who aren’t worried about moving to 05.11.07 (unlocking).
