Imagine ordering an iPhone 3G and ending up with an iPhone 3GS instead. That’s what an user from apfeltalk forum must have thought on seeing the packaging on his brand new iPhone. It read iPhone 3GS 8GB instead of iPhone 3G 8GB!
Now the big question is whether it’s just a labelling error or are we in for an iPhone 3GS 8GB at the 26th January Conference?
Is Apple thinking of phasing out iPhone 3G model altogether and trying to lure the price sensitive consumers with their $99 3GS iPhone. Well with danger lurking in the form of Droid and Nexus One, just about anything is possible.
So let’s hope iPhone 3GS 8GB turns out to be true!
