This morning, I was surprised to see an app called iVideoCamera on the AppStore which claimed to record video on any iPhone! I gave it a spin on my iPhone 3G and it worked flawlessly.
I played around with it for a while and just when I thought that I had found a descent replacement to Cycorder, the app stopped recording abruptly. Apparently, it has a recording limit of 60 seconds which in my opinion sucks. Other limitations are the low resolution(160×213) and poor frame rate (3 frames/sec).
However, the social aspect is well integrated into the app with video sharing support via Youtube, FaceBook, Twitter and Vimeo. Check out the video demo below and just in case you like the app, head over to the App store and make it yours for $0.99.
Note: Cycorder has a better frame rate(6-15 frames/sec) and resolution(384×288). It’s always worth jailbreaking your iPhone :)
